Hard work is always going on behind the scenes here at Shadow Thread Designs! Our new Women's Lingerie line is still in development and we are closer to making the launch in August! Once things get more solid, a date will be released! So be on the lookout for that! 

We will have a break after our event at the Alameda Rock n' Roll Flea Market July 25th, to allow time to make final touches on the lingerie line and to produce more products for upcoming shows, so there will be more to see and our new designs will be available to purchase in person!

One thing that Shadow Thread Designs like to do, is to give back. Our Autism is Metal shirts and Tank tops are our number one seller, and half of each sale will be donated to the Autism Science Foundation in December. 

We have also purchased two badass Guitars from WarBoy for the sole purpose to donate all proceeds to two different Cancer Funds. These fundraisers are currently in the works and an announcement will be made soon! 

Artis Spotlight: Scott Thomas Chavez

It's been said that this legend might possibly be the same size as his ego but luckily, his legend doesn't burn as bright as his imagination. With the third longest tenure in the band he's considered one of the three originals. A bass player turned guitarist under the tutelage of yet again, {Mike DiBattista} he was a perfect fit for Short Fuse. As it is for most members it was trial by fire. With only 4 days to prepare and 7 songs to learn he was introduced to 10 thousand screaming metal heads at Locobazooka Festheld at Fitchburg Airport in Boston on September 18th 2005 and he never looked back! Missing the chance to record on Hate Brought to this place called Home, {The first release by Short Fuse} He made his guitar/song writing debut on Shred The Dead, recorded in 2010 at Trident Studios by Juan Urteaga. Shred The Dead, the title track of the album was his first contribution to Short Fuse adding Deathmetal edge with a touch of Bay Area Thrash. He went on to write songs like Swallowed Earth, King Maggot and I'd Rather be Dead continuing to push himself to be a better guitarist and member of the band. Turn the page to chapter 2019, he's still writing and performing with the band, 4 albums later with multiple tours across the United States and around the globe at the ripe old age of 52. If I were to predict his future in the band, I'd make it short {fuse} and sweet. Scott Thomas Chavez will be around the world and then some with Short Fuse till the sun burns out and we all turn into ice sculptures.

Short Fuse is a six piece , Melodic Death Metal act from the San Francisco area who craft their compositions by skillfully combining melodic riffs with powerful driving beats augmented with electronic background scores and savage upfront vocals.
